We are on RF 16.4 sp2. We have two numbers that get faxes in area code 321. The Cisco call manager redirects them to area code 386, which contains the Right Fax number.
If you fax to the 321, content gets garbled most of the time. If you fax directly to 386, it works fine.
No other issues present.
Anyone have a good networking side that can comment? I suspect this is an issue outside of Right Fax, but more of a Cisco Call Manager side. A different group handles the networking side, they see no issues other than a possible T1 saturation on the line.
The issue is only with forwards on these two phone lines, going to another area code. I do not see anything that can be improved on the Right Fax side, other than upgrading to newer version.
Open Text team has looked at Wire Shark logs, and recommended we:
- Update to latest version of 16.4 RightFax.
- Update versions of SDK
- They would like us to turn on or verify that Error Correction Mode is on
- There are some settings that they would like updated within our BTCall.cfg
Hoping someone has seen this issue before. :-)
Thanks,
