Open Classic link example

Just curious,

Has anyone got the open classic link example to work? I tried it and I still can't get the link to show up in the list of commands on a document. Oddly, I'm able to take the rename example and forged my own dialog that comes up with not too much effort, but the open classic doesn't work. I had this problem a year ago - same thing. Classic link example doesn't work, but rename dialog example does. Is the classic link code broken?

Only want it so that for next release I can get a Smart View link added and reuse existing classic UI infrastructure while deciding on styles in the new Smart UI dialog.

I got it to work, it wasn't easy.

I did manage to get mine working about 4 days after I posted this but I forgot to reply to this thread - I don't go on the forums much lately since OT doesn't respond to them as frequently as they used to. I had forgot something simple in my implementation. Unfortunately, I forgot exactly what I changed, but it worked. You should probably get OT to pay you for your sample code. I'd post my implementation but it is heavily tethered with other proprietary bits.
