Hi Team,

We are looking to extract all documents from the Archive Server and place them on Azure Blob storage and then decommission the Archive Server. Is this achievable through OTIC? Can we extract data from the Archive Server using OTIC? If yes, where can I find the connector for it?

Hi,

Is the content in Archive Server surfaced through any other application - in paricular OpenText Content Suite / Extended ECM ?

If so, be aware that without ensuring the reference that Content Suite/xECM has to the object is also updated during the transition will render the content inaccessible.

If the documents are surfaced via CS/xECM, then you can look at a Content Suite "Content Move" job - setting up a new storage provider (using Azure Blob storage) and then using the move job to move the content from Archive Server to Azure.

This however would take quite some time depending on volumes.
