Microsoft Doc file (.docx) is not previewing in browser

Hi Expert, 

I am facing one issue while opening microsoft doc file (.docx) file . It is not opening at browser while clicking rather it is directly getting downloaded into the system. 

Where Other documents like .txt file, .pdf document or any image documents are getting previewed at browser. 

Could you please suggest what can be done here. Is brava viewer is a option ? Without Brava viewer, can we resolve this. I have instlalled Content Server web server extention for chrome.
