Don't get to see the group field
I do know that in order for Rolest tab to appear in the workflow, must select Map Based in the Role Implmentation field, is there something to be configured to get the group?
Your type is Initiator it is a special step . Usually, only a Person can Initiate it hence no choice for Group.Put a Regular user and the Group will come for you as a choice
