Access OTCS screen from SAP C4C mash up in offline mode

Hi Expert,

User need to access SAP C4C screen, where they need to launch OTCS screen from the mash up. Is it possible to access OTCS screen from SAP C4C mash up in offline mode(without having internet connection )?

without a network connection the only OTCS product that supports that is perhaps Remote Cache(complicated product), Enterprise Connect(offline mode), etc. The actual CS requires the user to hit it via a website reference so I am unsure what exactly you will run into.

Having said that OT makes a lot of caching things for example if you were in an FPSO in the middle of the ocean with very choppy internet you would have a replica of a CS in the ship when the ship docs shore the changes people made in the system are synchronized to and fro, this requires network traffic.
