Name change for download file

We would like to have version name as file name while downloading instead of display name.

Attached is the example 

Display name:1_Specification

version name: TSP 7101080401.pdf

Even while downloading from version tab, the downloaded file has display name.

Is there any system setting to change this configuration please?

Hi,

I'm not sure, but you can probably create a new module that extends the download functionalities to modify how it is handled.

If you have the Module Suite, this would only require a few lines of code. You could create a custom action using the Content Script that manages the download (see image below).

Then, with a few more lines of Groovy code within a Content Script, you can rename the file to be downloaded with any other value, maybe taken from the categories, to enrich it, in addition to the version.
