    Hello Asmaa,

If you want to show your result into a pie chart or par chart by using webreport, you will use the smart view

    Steps:
1- add a Webreport with template : "visual count widget - Grouping on Clint Json".
2- Use the liveReport that you create as the data source of this Webreport as you can see here and click Add.

3- When you try to open this webreport it should open like this:

4- Last step is to go to the Perspective Manager and add a widget to show this webreport, To do that you'll add "visual Count" widget from "Content Intelligence" tap Like this :

5- you'll need to customize this widget by selecting the Source webreport and type and the active column which is the column that webreport will use to visualize the data:

  • Hi Omar, if you have the Module Suite available on that instance, you can write a few lines of Groovy code in a Content Script to fetch the data you need and pass it to a component that creates the chart for you. This way, you’ll only need to focus on the graphical details rather than doing everything manually. Here’s some examples of a dashboard with various charts from recent projects, it takes just a few minutes to create something similar.

If you don’t have the Module Suite, you can follow Greg’s approach, but you won’t have control over the chart’s UI/UX, or Mohamed’s suggestion, though again, you won’t have full control over the component. If you want detailed control without the Module Suite, you’ll need to download a chart library on every server in your architecture, create the necessary LiveReports, and build several WebReports (or similar components) where you manually insert all the required HTML and JavaScript code.
