Best Practices for Taking Tomcat Backup Before Patching
Hi everyone,
What is the recommended approach for taking a backup of Tomcat before performing patching? Should the backup be stored on a different server, on the local system, or on a file-sharing system? I would appreciate your insights and any best practices you can share.
Thank you in advance!

@Karen Weir , we have not raised any ticket related to this. We are seeking the correct procedure for backing up files and folders from the server to the local machine. Could you please provide the detailed steps for this process?

What OpenText product are you using in conjunction to Tomcat?
The Developer community members may be able to provide insight if they can, but I'll try to help by searching our My Support Knowledge Base for documentation relating to the OpenText product.

Thank you. I encourage you to work with our Support team on this and the certificate inquiry. Install, configuration, environment questions are best suited to My Support. I will search the Support Knowledge Base on your behalf.
