I would like to understand if anyone has implemented a similar scenario where the OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) solution is hosted on a private cloud environment (yet publicly accessible), and integrated with an SAP S/4HANA system deployed on-premise within a customer’s internal network. In our case, the S/4HANA system resides behind the corporate firewall and is only accessible within the organization’s intranet, with no public IP exposure.
Given these constraints, could someone please advise on the most secure and effective approach to enable connectivity between the two systems—specifically, how to facilitate communication from OpenText xECM to the on-premise S/4HANA system without exposing the S/4HANA private IPs to the public internet
