Hi, Dear Colleagues!
I would like to raise up one very important topic for migration with Migration Tools approach.
Situation at glance:
- We have Archive Server OnPrem with 10 Logical Archives.
- We have installed on the other VM: Core Archive Connector + Opentext Migration Tools.
- Initialization script "otcam-config" was executed → All Logical Archives stay in status ON_PREM_ONLY. Migration Router works as a Proxy, all documents are being written to original Logical Archives.
- We pick up first Logical Archive, call "otcam-prepare-archives" script, its status changed to "IN_MIGRATION", Collection automatically created accordingly.
- Documents from this Logical Archive is being transferred to Collection.
- New Write requests going into Core Collection.
It seems, everything is fine, except: after 99.999% documents were migrated successfully, we have 1 document, which "stuck" into migration process on "NEEDS_TRANSFER" step:
In Database CM_DOC we see some reason for this error state:
Question: is it safe to make DB update for this document record, if we would like to restart this particular document processing? Who had the same experience on a real cases in Production?
