The OutputFile function

Hi all.
I have a PDF Document stored in disk and I want to sent that specify document as HTTP Response I saw in the documentation that I can use OutputFile function to send document directly to an Output connector, but I can't make it work, when a try from client the HTTP Response doesn't have any PDF file is just empty.
I'm using OpenText Exstream 16.6

I tried it with a simple test project and it works well for me.

Where are you calling the OutputFile function?
How does your output connector configuration look like? You must not set a driver for the connector used with OutputFile.

Sure, in general terms this is my script, pdf_out_temp function generates the file and stored it in disk then additional modifications are made to the the file after that I want to sent the final file using OutputFile function and the conne

The script looks alright, but you did not tell me, where you call this script.

Where you call this function, put "OutputFile($path_out);" also in and do a syntax check. You might get "Invalid placement of outputfile" as result.

I call the script as part of the Before on Message, after the syntax check I got "No errors".

I see now, well I guess I don't get any error because in "Message" I call a function "main_stuff" and inside that function I perform the code I shared above, so OutputFile function where it should be called?

I used XMLOut for example. Does not really matter, I would say.
