One of our customers has a few employees who rarely connect to the company network, as they are primarily traveling users. VPN usage is inconsistent and not required for their day-to-day work.
The issue we have encountered is that their computers cannot connect to the ZENworks server long enough for all necessary updates to complete. A major example is the Antimalware program, which consistently displays “You are not protected.”
We currently have AM set up. We would like to know if there is a way to configure AM and ZENworks so that traveling users can connect to the server and receive updates even when they are not on the company network or using VPN.
Is there a recommended configuration to support this scenario?
