We are looking for clarification around section: 10.2.4 – Creating logical ports in the SAP system from the OpenText Archiving and Document Access for SAP Solutions installation guide CE 24.4 (EESPDC240400-IGD-EN-01)
Which instruction should we follow for our SAP Basis release = 7.58?
We have tried 7.51 as the Consumer Proxies are there and ready for that configuration.
However, as Consumer Security: SAP Authentication Assertion Ticket is mandated, it is unclear if some of the settings mentioned in section 10.2.4.5 – Using the assertion-based authentication mechanism are required.
Relatedly, section: 10.2.6 – Creating logical destinations also gives the option to set: Logon with Ticket, select Send Assertion Ticket for Dedicated Target System
However, the below note:
contradicts the referenced 10.2.3 – Activating the SSO HTTP service section:
as Values 2 or 3 are not permitted – only Boolean 1 (Permit) or 0 (Prevent).
Running the Diagnostic test in SAP we get the following errors for:
- Encountered exception validating SAP Token. Details: MySapEvalLogonTicketEx failed: standard error= 24, ssf error= 0 Exception
Can the Content Server Member Service be executed?
Can the OTDS Service be executed?
Which points us to: SAP Note # 3364852 - Running the Diagnostic Program fails with standard error = 24, ssf error = 0 in SAP Extended Enterprise Content Management by OpenText, that states for all versions use the following resolution:
In Summary
Which section(s) should we follow for our SAP Basis release = 7.58?
Do we need to configure and enter a virtual SAP System ID and Client for OTDS with the SID = OTX and client id = 001, and how can we validate it is set-up correctly?
The OpenText document needs revising for the Send Assertion Ticket parameters from login/accept_sso2_ticket à login/create_sso2_ticket
