We have an OTAC repository name GOS. In which pool ABC is attached with storage type as single file. It has around ~20 million documents in ds_doc table. The underlying disk volume path is no longer accessible. This particular business is sold to another unit. When we try to expand Disk Volumes in administration client ,the request times out. Also unable to view details of volumes under pool ABC. We are reviewing KB0834041 and as per this we need to delete the volume.
1.What is the recommended approach to safely remove this pool or its disk volumes?
2.Should the volumes be exported first, or can they be deleted directly?
