The request failed with HTTP status 413: Request Entity Too Large.

When submitting a JobSubmit to the test url http://test2messaging.easylink.com/soap/sync, with a wav file embeded using the format JobSubmit.DocEncodingFormat.base64, I receive the error, "The request failed with HTTP status 413: Request Entity Too Large."

The wav file is 205kb.

Is there another prefered way to include a message this large?

Are you able to provide your submit XML. 205kb is not very large and ous servers do not have a file size restriction. This error has never been reported before. I have passed in files much larger than yours.

I reran it with the same exception. I've serialized the request and attached it.

We do not believe that the message is reaching us as we do not see a request with your MessageID, and that is not an http error we pass back. There may be a proxy or something you are passing through that limits the size of a request.

We did note in your submit a problem though, the namespace declaration for http://ws.easylink.com/JobSubmit/2011/01 is in the wrong place – it should be in the JobSubmitRequest element. We fixed that and added a header with a bogus user id and the job came in to us.
