Livelink Builder, or alternatives for solaris?
ATHANASSIOS_FAMELIARIS
Is there a version of Builder for solaris? If not, how does one do any debugging on a solaris installation? There are many cases where it does not behave identically to the windows version. Thanks in advance!Yiannos

Set the debug flag in opentext.ini and read the log file....

Thank you for the suggestion. I am aware of the loggin capabilities, but these are of course inadequate, as they do not offer any flexibility compared to debuging. I understand from the lack of responses that there is no solution to this problem. Since solaris is a supported platform it is unacceptable that a company the size of Opentext cannot hire 5 developers for a solaris version of the builder. Especially if one takes into account that the Solaris and Windows versions behave differently on many occasions!Having said that, this is typical of the kind of support Opentext offers to developers. Even the Windows Builder is a very inflexible too as it does not allow for any source sharing management. Their documentation is paracically inexistant, and often wrong where it does exist.Thank **** for this forum and a few concious employees, as the official OT support, at least for ME, where we are, is also inexistant.
