Background:
I have exported documents using Object Exporter (Livelink 9.7.1) and importing them through Object Importer (CS 10.5). The documents have been imported successfully.
Issue faced:
If I try to open a document (pdf, word) in the destination, it’s not able to recognize the native document format in which it should be opened. After saving the document on a drive, its getting saved as an application file. Note: No change has been made in the system tag values (like mimetype, filename, etc)
The Mime Type value for imported document is appearing correctly (e.g. application/pdf for PDF)
The difference is in the Version name (Go to Document --> Properties --> Versions)
In the source system, the File name appears as abc.doc in Livelink whereas File name appears as "000001" which is the EFS file name. How to resolve this issue?
