Eclipse IDE installed on laptop but CS on differnt Server . It is possibe to configure Oscript?

Dear Experts,

I am trying to configure the Oscript for development.

We have Content Server 10.5 sp 1 which is installed on server (on diffrent machine).

I have installed eclipse on my laptop and as per guide i have added the oscript plugin in my laptop.

Now when i am creating Helloworld project it is asking OTHOME directry path.

how to configure the same.

Please suggest

As per standard document i need to given C:\Opentext directly here but how do we need to do on client machine?

The short (and disappointing) answer is: that's not possible.

Content Server and Eclipse (with CSIDE plugin) must be on the same computer.

Remote debugging is not currently allowed we thought about it but there are many security concerns. Also, the development itself depend on accessing your OTHOME to start an instant of your CS so this can not happen remotely. We are considering this feature for future but I do not think that will be soon.
