Sample for creating Email Objects subtype (749) in Content Server 16+ in C# and Java

Hello everyone.

It has been an oft-requested thing of support to get a sample for how to create an email via CWS. As we all know, the 749 email subtype has numerous properties that need to be set, so it may not be immediately obvious what is needed in order to achieve this.

For your benefit, we have collated two samples to share on the forums.

And we've encountered our first hiccup! Looks like the article doesn't like the "#" in the attachment name.

The Java sample will load, fine, but the C# sample is temporarily unavailable.

I'm working to rectify that.

Good ones Nizar, will benefit someone.Do you know if the "compound email" subtype is still supported by OT.Some old companies still use them.They are not "749".In EC I think one can select what the subtype you want made.OT always says 749 is the better subtype but some people like the Compond email presentation better and won't switch...

Hey Appu,

There are ServiceNode objects for Email and Email Folder type objects, so either of those are fair game. I don’t see one in OTEMAIL or in the global ServiceNode registry for Compound Emails, so that one won’t be able to be created with CWS unless you customize/extend for yourself.

Like I said there's only a very small minority that uses that subtype so it may not be that important.
