From landing page perspective shortcut to container view?

Hi all,

We have build a plain standard landingpage where we have created shortcuts to folders within the enterprise workspace and predefined search widgets (all part of the default package, no custom coding).

I have also created an local perspective to be used on a specific folder. I was hoping/excepting that the landingpage shortcuts to these local perstectives would be activated when clicking the shortcut, but I just get the default folder view.

This might be a very common behaivor and that we misunderstand the usage, but I hope one of you might could explain some of this to us, please.

Hi Jesper,

I ran the test you mention and it works fine for me. When I click the shortcut I see the custom perspective applied to the folder. Does the custom perspective show when you browse to it directly or enter the URL into the address bar?

If it is working when browsing directly to the container but not from a landing page shortcut you might want to contact support to see if they are able to reproduce the behaviour.

Thank you for your answer.

Which version did you run the test on?

We are running 16.0.5 (Linux version) and I did not mention that the landing pages should be controlled by roles, which might not seems to work yet!

I will still test the direct links to the "sub" folders to see if that work - thank you.
