Are Category Attributes Relational?

If I create a category that has attribute A, B, and C, and another category that also has A, but then X, and Y. Are those two "A"s considered the same by the system (LiveReports)? Is there a way to create cateogires that are relational?

Not without custom oscript work. The Attributes of a category those leaves take the form of category Dataid:AttrID but you could theoretically use the same values in different attributes of different categories . An e.g would be let my CatA:AttrA get its value from select Name from DTree where Name Like ‘A%’ so the pull down will be filled by that query result set. There’s nothing preventing you to define that in CatB:AttrA .. you may want to look in documentation of ADN Table Key lookup and cascading ordinary look ups to get a feel.

Reporting on Attributes are easy enough once you have understood how to do this in LLAttrdata at least more than 1000 different permutation combination exists in this forum
