Is it possible to change the name of a file prior to uploading to OTCS?

Hi, we have documents that are stored in Sharepoint that we eventually upload to OpenText for retention. We would like to change the name of a file after downloading the document from Sharepoint to a File object, prior to calling UploadBytesToOpenText method. Is this possible ?

Hi Joe,

If WebReport Triggers are an option, I'd suggest that a rename once that file is first created, would be easier to manage than customizations withinin the AGA Document Archiving process for a given environment, but I suppose it depends precisely on your business needs.

Material archived from SharePoint have plenty of extant metadata that could be read within a given WebReport, much in the same way as category information.

I have not done any AGA stuff, so I do not know your specifics, but yes this is possible. The way CS works is somewhere in the chain of events that happens there will be a node allocation (typically llnode.alloc) where you are allowed to provide a new name.
