Exstream - service start time-out

Hello everyone,

Does anybody know, how can I extend wait time for service (Communications Server) to start?

Whenever I deploy export file to service (containing 809 export files) it is starting ~15 seconds, and it time-out and gives me error illustrated in screenshot below.

If I reduce the number of export files in service, then it starts without problem.

I know that solution would be to separate the amount of files between two services, but I'd like to keep them in one.

Whenever a scheduled server restart happens, sometimes the service is in status "starting" and I have to kill it and start it manually. Very annoying.

I went through a bunch of configuration XML files, but I cannot seem to find the right one.

Windows Server 2022

Exstream 23.3. (16.6.7 build: 496 and 799)
Java 21

OTDS 24.3

Any tips or ideas are appreciated.

Thank you!

PS: I apologize to moderator, I did not notice I posted this in the wrong section. I should have been in Exstream instead of "API, SDK, REST and Web Services"

    Hi

you have to change the Management Gateway timeout on the Domain level in Control Center, we have it set to 180000 ms instead of the original 60000. this helps a lot. - remember to restart the Management Gateway by windows services and re-open Control Center application after the change :)

    Best regards

  • Hi Jesper,

    Thank you, this actually helped!

I was looking way too deep, and the solution was in front of me the whole time.
