JobSubmit service clarification

HI Team,

Need some information for Jobsubmit service, we are using Jobsubmit to send fax.

1. Rightnow we are setting <DeliveryRetryPattern>11</DeliveryRetryPattern> , i know its an optional field. If we remove this one still we are able to send fax. Is there any impact if we remove this while sending fax ??

2. We have written RestAPI for fax and from there we are calling Jobsubmit service ( SOAP service) . In Jobsubmit service time out scenario we want to know whats the timeout value for Jobsubmit service , whether we can customize those timeout value??

Please review and suggest us.

1. If you do not provide DeliveryRetryPattern, it will use the Default in your Profile. You should consult your Sales Person or PreSales Engineer for what that is. They can also explain ther settings with you. Most users have the Default which generally gives the most deliveries.

2. The URL on our side has no timeout setting. You may run into timeouts in your code builder or the various ISP's you go through to get to use. You can probably set your code as needed. ISP's are what they are.

Need some information to test failure scenario's of jobsubmit and jobdelivery status. Please review below points.

We are in the process of testing
different scenarios for Jobsubmit and JobdeliveryStatus services. I want to
test some failure scenario’s for JobSubmit and JobDeliveryStatus.

Job Submit : Need to test
negative case where job submission need to fail.

JobDeliveryStatus : Need to test
jobdeliverystatus failure scenario and also what’s the scenarios where we will
get the gamma code from jobdeliverystatus response.

Please suggest how to frame the
request , so that we can verify these failure scenario’s. Thank you.

At this point you should be well past getting an error from either one. Your code should be stable. With both, if you are doing the proper checking there should be no errors.

Actually till now i didn't get any gamma code ( error response) ,it passed every time. Can you please suggest how to make request in such a way to get this gamma code errors.

Gamma Codes are not returned in any Request. If you provide bad credentials in any Request you will get a system error.

The JobDeliveryStatusRequest Result will retunr a gamma code for to few dial digits, less than 10, or a busy, or a bad number, for example.
