Create / Manage Classifications using CWS \ REST API

Is there a way using CWS \ REST API in order to attach / delete classifications to / from an existing document?
Or uploading a document and attach into it's metadata a classification?

Regular or RM Classification they look similar but they are different subtypes . CWS is older and more mature has supported RM Classifications from day one . REST you may have to check but since XECM cannot function without regular classifications my guess is REST may have an end point . In doubt you will have to look at RM code as classification s are not OT Core but almost the RM side of things

Play with it the parameters are the NodeID of the Items that Need the classification also class_id which again is a node id of subtype RM Classification. It probably can be extrapolated to work with ordinary classification . It is a guess ...
