Migrating from EasyLink SOAP to REST

Hi all,

I would like to migrate from using the easylink SOAP APIs to the REST APIs. We are using easylink apis to send faxes. Can we use the same account credentials to use the Cloud Fax Rest APIs?

Where can we find the documentation, as well, how do we setup the webhook/callback capability?

The URL looks fine, so the credentials that you are using should work fine for the REST APIs as well, unless otherwise there is some account related issue that you may be having. For further assistance I would advise you to raise a Support Ticket.

    Hi,

Yes you can use the same credentials for REST APIs as well.

The documentation for Cloud Fax APIs and details for webhook can be found here

    https://developer.opentext.com/ce/products/cloudfax/apis/cloudfax

  • Hi Arun, thank you for responding, if I use this API:
https://api.us.cloudmessaging.opentext.com/mra/v1/inbound/documents/next I get the following "error_code: 2909" Authentication error. That happens when I curl with basic authentication. Is there a way I can get further debugging help?

  • After digging around, it seems like we are using Mail2Fax authentication for our SOAP services. How does that translate for using the REST APIs?

  • Can you please share the endpoint that are you trying to use for SOAP Request?
