Is it possible to hide folders in Business Workspace (xECM) widget based on user's role ?

Hi Team,
As part of AppWorks solution, xECM is integrated to use business workspace.
Customer use case is to hide specific folders from Business Workspace based on logged-in user's role. Can this be achievable with configuration at xECM (document template !?) ?
Thank you!

Hi Rakesh
Can you not solve this with the right roles and permissions in the case?0 -
Hi PJ Hermans,
I'm not sure on it where to check for that. When I've looked at folders permissions at Document Template at design time, there is no hide option for user/group. I might be looking at wrong place so I wanted to check how to do this or is this use case valid for business workspace at all ?

You can create roles in the BW template, and then apply them on folder level.
In the function menu of your BW template (not a subfolder), choose 'Team Roles and Permissions'Use the '+' button to create a role:
Apply the role to the subitems and then assign it the right permissions on the subfolder.
You can assign users to roles via 'Team Participants' in the first screenshot.

Note: When you start working with roles & participants and different permissions on subfolders, you'll find that the default permissions maintenance functions in Classic view and also in Smart UI are really not efficient and I can advise Fastman Permissions Manager1 -
That’s right. Fastman Permissions Manager is going to give you a TRUE view to all the access including roles and the bulk tools to apply changes.
