SAP ECC(xECM Add-on 10.5) conversion to S4HANA( xECM Add-on: 22.4 )

Hi Experts,

We are using OpenText Extended ECM in our current ERP 6.0 EHP5 system, with the following components deployed:

OTEXBAS 1050_700[0001] OTEXRL 1050_700[0001]

As we are planning a conversion to S/4HANA 2022 latest SPS, can you please help or clarify the approach for the below points?

1. If a direct upgrade from OpenText xECM 10.5 to 22.4 along with ECC to S/4HANA conversion is possible?

2. Or does it need to apply a 2-step approach as xECM 16.x onwards is compatible with S4HANA? Do we need to upgrade xECM to 16.x from 10.5 in existing ECC system and then plan conversion to S4HANA, where the target add-on version for xECM is considered to be 22.4?

Hi Prasad,

First you need to move to 16 then to 22.4. You cant do it directly from 10.5 to 22.4.
