Testing during App Development Cycle
Hi,
I think as per the documentation,if I have to zip my app as mobile.zip, it will be very painful during development. Because, during development I would like to test the page instantly without going through the whole cycle of archiving into mobile.zip.
So can you please explain the steps that you would recommend during the development phase?
Regards,
Phani

Hi Werner,
Thanks for the response. But is there a option to work without archiving and keeping the files on the server during the development cycle. The reason being, I want to test while I code. So i don't want the process of archiving everytime during unit testing.
Regards,
Phani

Assuming you're building a Javascript-based application, your best bet is behavioral testing. I don't see any standards mentioned here, but what we use is http://pivotal.github.io/jasmine/ to write behavioral tests and unit tests of all our javascript code. There are other unit testing frameworks as well. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/300855/javascript-unit-test-tools-for-tdd - this answer has a well written listen of testing frameworks.
