Japanese font package being required for form without Japanese

Hi,

I am using Gill Sans Font for the report. In BIRT if i try to open it in PDF format File --> View Report --> View Report As PDF.
Then geting an error "A font package is required to correctly display this page. Click OK to direct your browser to download the add-on from adobe.com.After installation, you will need to close and re-open the documents to correctly view view contents dependends on these newly installed fonts. OK/Cancel".
If clicked on OK button it re-directs to URL http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3981
If clicked on Cancel button it shows the report without any data/some times few data will be displayed.

In the entire report we are using Gill Sans which is not a Japanese Font. Please suggest me how to proceed on the same.

    I don't see the same if I use Gill Sans in a report. Did you have to install the Gill Sans font? Or was it already in your fonts list? Also, what is your BIRT version and PDF reader version?

    Gill Sans is not available i have installed the fonts (Already available is Gill Sans MT). <br />
    BIRT version - birt-rcp-report-designer-2_2_0<br />
    Adobe Version - 10.1.2.45<br />

    even after deploying the report in WAS app server i am facing the issue..<br />
    I am using IE 8 browser.<br />

    Hi Michael,<br />

    I have installed the plugin then the pdf is opening without the error. But the PDF shows some other font apart from the Gill Sans.Other than PDF format the font is displayed as Gill Sans. In PDF it is getting displayed with some other font. <br />
    Please advise on the same.<br />
