New ProVision Report Viewer
For those of you using the ProVision Report Viewer:
The Report Viewer has been updated to support Crystal Reports 2008 with the Service Release 1 of ProVision 6.2. Previously, certain Crystal Reports XI and 2008 capabilities were not working as expected. The new Report Viewer is capable of showing all features within 2008. For example, model images can now be included in the Crystal Reports that you develop. Try one of the pre-supplied reports, or write one of your own.
Enjoy,
Brian

Hi Brian,
This sounds like a useful feature but I have not yet located a report that demonstrates the functionality. Can you point me at one please?
Cheers

We've recently upgraded to PV 6.2.4 and in my instance the "Create Report" and "Modify Report" options remain greyed out .. any ideas why this is happening ? Thanks in advance-- Need a re-install maybe ? (i saw all the Crystal Report install boxes)

Hello,
You must have Crystal Reports installed to Create and Modify reports. If you do not, you can only use the Crystal Reports viewer to view a report that someone has made. The PVReportViewer uses the Crystal Reports 2008 Runtime (but again, this won't grant you the ability to create/modify reports).
Regards,
Matt Michael
