Issue With MBPM 9.0 SR1

Hi All,

I am facing a peculiar problem with the webclient after installation of SR1. I installed SR1 in order to get the process activator. But after the installation, now whenever I am trying to login through Metastorm web client I am receiving error message like “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”.

Can anybody please help ?

  • Did you run the eworkProcedures.sql script on the db? Also, verify your web.config connections...

  • Hi Thomas,

    Thanks a lot for response.

Yes, I did run the eworkProcedures.sql script.

Can you please elaborate what do you mean by web.config connections? Is it for web.config of Metastorm VD only ?

Mean while I am planning to install SR2, if that can resolve the issue. Please suggest me if I should go for that or not ?

    Thanks,

  • I had an issue once after installing a SR where the web.config file lost it's customizations, but it was mostly related to SSO configurations. As a start, to hopefully save you some effort - install the new SR, and unless there are specific reasons in the release notes preventing you from installing the SR3 as well, go ahead with that and then hotfixes at your discretion..
