Internet Explorer 9
My Firm is in the planning stages of migrating to Windows 7. I checked the online supported environments (9.0 SR3 posted January 2011). In it IE 7 and IE 8 and Firefox are listed as supported clients.
IE 9 is not mentioned, thought it looks like it was only released this past March. When will IE 9 be certified to work with BPM 9? (And will be be supported for BPM 7.6 if we haven't migrated to BPM 9.1 by the time we implement Windows 7?)

Hi,
Support for IE9 is scheduled to be included in the upcoming Service Release 4 for BPM version 7.6.
Support for IE9 has also been scheduled to be included in Service Release 1 for BPM version 9.1.
There are no current plans to include support for IE9 in BPM version 9.0.

I see that hotfix v7.6.3.7 has been released.
The post above says that IE 9 will be supported on on v7.6.4. We are staring a Firm-wide Windows 7 desktop upgrade shortly which we prefer to include IE 9 instead of IE 8. We will not be able to implement BPM v9.1 before we start rolling out the new desktop.
Is there any tentative date for 7.6.4, or a release where v7 will be supported on IE 9?

Support for IE9 in v7.6 is scheduled for 7.6 SR4.
Currently SR4 is tenatively scheduled for end of September 2011.
Edited to correct the date...

I assume that is 2011. Or is it a year late....?

Just checking in as its mid-October and we are beginning Windows 7 (IE 9) integration testing.
Any update as to when 7.6.4 or a release compatible with IE9 may become available?
Also, I don't recall and don't see readily while scanning the documentation, is v9.1.0.2 supported for IE9 yet?

Our apologies but 7.6 SR4 has slipped to a November release now.
Version 9.1 SR1 (9.1.1) should now be availble and it does support IE9.

V9.1.1 doesn't appear to be out yet, at least on the Customer site, nor do I see any announcement in the Blog like there would usually be. (Then again, I've written to support because the downloads section of the new OpenText downloads section seems to be broken.) The most recent I currently have is V9.1.0.2
We have some time for V9, so its timing should be OK for us. For V7, since the date slipped I have been directed to see if things will work in "compatibility mode" in IE9.

You should be able to download 9.1.1 from the OpenText Knowledge Center, that has replaced the Customer Zone website. Try this link-

Alas, I am still blocked from the downloads section, but I can access the Documentation and Hot Fixes section. CG and the Community Admin are working on that aspect, but granted me access to an ftp site meanwhile.
I wonder why there was no announcement like there usually is in the Blog, etc.
