Announcing Metastorm BPM version 7.6 SR4

We are pleased to announce the availability of Metastorm BPM version 7.6 service release 4. This is provided as an incremental update and may be applied to any previous 7.6.x release. This is now available to Partners and Customers with active maintenance agreements for Metastorm BPM.

 

In addition to defect fixes release 7.6 SR4 includes enhancements for:

- Saving Metastorm SharePoint Web Parts Layout

- Enhanced Security for Metastorm cookies

- Prevention of caching of SSL pages

- Ability to use BPM Gadget on Windows 7

    After installing SR4 a bug was discovered for Text boxes when Client Extentions are entered "URL" and the Calculation Formula has the website address ie http://www.google.co.uk  or built up with variable names

     

    When you publish the changes Internet explorer works and opens the link

     

    If you re-open the designer (.xep) or Retrieve from the database the Calculation Formula is only showing either http or https and not the address you are looking for

     

    Work around is to have a variable for each button and show as a variable with URL set

     

    This has been tested by Metastorm helpdesk and pending feedback

     

    This style of field we use for looking up help text
