Customizing to-do list/watch list with additional columns
This may be a noob question - can I customize to-do/watch-list on portal with new columns ?
Right now if I go into the to-do list I see "Folder/Subject/Updated/Stage/Priorty/Deadline/Message". What if I want to add another column, with dare say even a value from the folder itself. Is that even possible ?
I did see this post

but its referring to files I can't find in v9.

Hi Prax,
you can not show other content than stored in the eAlert table. if you like show more information than this in a list you can make use of the Custom List instead. The data shown in the custom list is based on a business object and the data you like to show.It can be filtered by processcontext.username as well.
I hope this helps. There are other "workarounds" to achieve other columns in the todo and watch list but please be aware that an update to the product (Hotfix, Service Release) might overwrite this changes.

I have a few followup questions im hoping you could help with :smileyhappy:
1) Say I want to add a column in eAlerts but not in the portal (say eDeadline, or eEngineName) how can i do that?
2) could you please give a link for the custom lists if you have one?
3) What are the possible ways to workaround this - even if its a potential upgrade risk.
