Can an Execute360 Domain support multiple client versions?
By David Berglund
We're planning a rollout of new workstations which will be loaded with Windows 7 x64. I understand that we need to use Execute360 Client r10 for Windows 7 support. Our existing clients are on an older operating system version and running Execute360 Client r9. The Execute360 Domain is r10. Will it work with both r9 and r10 clients, or do I have to upgrade all clients to r10?

Yes, Execute360 Domains are both forward and backward compatible and different client versions can simultaneously communicate with an Execute360 Domain. In your specific example, 9.21 and r10 clients can both communicate with an Execute360 r10 domain, so you can roll out your new Windows 7 clients with Execute360 r10 client, without also upgrading your existing workstations.
