Intermittent issues with FilterParams and MetastormGuest form access.

I have a process that can be initiated by a guest (non authenticated) user that takes an optional parameter in the URL (below)

 

https://URL/metastorm/eForm.aspx?Map=Proc_Reg&Client=External&Action=Employee_Metastorm_Registration&FilterParams=txtWCUID;28201301290011008033654;TEXT

 

This should populate the text field on the form named “txtWCUID”, but it only works intermittently.

 

I have another process (this time only for authenticated BPM users already logged in), that seems to work every time.

 

Does anyone have any experience with this, or any ideas?

 

This is BPM version 9.1.2.6.  IE version 9.0.8112.

    I haven't seen that, however at the moment I'm trying to simply link to a blank form using public web access, and i can't get it to work properly for some reason.  I followed the admin guide instructions (I think), but when the form opens up, only some of the fields are shown, and others aren't shown...and the form isn't really working.  Have you seen this behavior?  If so, any idea what might cause it?  I'm guessing that something still isn't right in my web.config to fully-enable public access.

    I had a hard time getting guest access opened up with the Admin guide directions.  They're pretty crappy.  I opened a ticket with the help desk and they sent me this (unofficial) step by step guide.

    Thanks for the guide, that is helpful.  However, I reviewed all of the steps in there, and I appear to have everything done correctly, and I'm still seeing this issue.  I thought that maybe it was because I had the eWeb_SSO.js enabled in my authentication process (I read in the admin guide that public access only works with forms authentication)...so I removed that SAP file, but it still doesn't work.

     

    Not sure what else to try.  Have you tried this with 9.2.1?  I wonder if something changed.

    Nevermind, I got it working..the URL was wrong. I was taking over something that someone else had done, and for some reason they were using eActionFormContents.aspx rather than eForm.aspx!

    Actually I jumped the gun.  My form displays properly now, but when I click a command button which sets the values on some dependent fields, I get a popup error-

     

    "unable to process webInitiate: is not locked anymore.please re-open folder and try again."

     

    any ideas on that one?

    actually now it just started working!  not sure what was going on there.
