WINWORD.EXE says, Memory could not be "read"
Hi!
At one of our customers' site, at one user's workstation Word keeps throwing error messages saying,
The instruction at "0x6360c4ad" referenced memory at "0x0f3720a0". The memory could not be "read".
-- since FileSite has been installed.
Has anyone seen some error like this before?
Regards
Wolfgang

If Word's crashing like this, I would assume that something has corrupted somewhere down the line.
Try deleting Word's "Normal.dot" template and restarting. Maybe then reset/disable/reenable/re-register any COM add-ins (including the WorkSite integration addin). As a last resort reinstall FileSite, maybe even the entire Office suite.
Word is a fragile application at the best of times..0 -
havent seen this message, but it does indicate that there may be another application installed which may be conflicting with filesite, that other users dont have ?0
