Open a file directly in a new browser tab

Is there a way how to prevent default action, which shows the window with open, download, properties below? We would like to just open a document instead - I do not want to see the dialog view (window), I just want to trigger the open action for the file.

Any brief instructions appreciated. :)

In your presentation settings do you perhaps have the open to show that box . We all turn it off . Secondly if it is Brava link it may have a problem

in case it is not clear the highlighted should be off .Newer Brava code also don't have any problem per se.Brava takes over based on mimetype so that is the logic.

Thank you very much @Appu Nair ! This helped me a lot. Unfortunately if I clicked with middle button, the dialog shows. Clicking with left mouse button open files directly.

For everyone else, there is a video (packed in ZIP file) showing different behaviour when box is (un)checked and where it can be set up in Content server admin page 21.1.
