Interested in creating a solution for: Data analysis and presentation in doctor portals challenge
Have questions or need an idea for this challenge?
Here is Statement on what the solution needs
Doctors need simple; they don’t need all the information at once! They need something scannable that highlights what’s important for that patient at this time.
They have 15 minutes with the patient to make a decision that will likely impact their life. The information exists, is just a matter of gathering, organizing and then presenting it.

Hi Chris, is there any specific dataset we are talking here or we can use open source data? and if we are using open source what all specific data it needs to handle( clinical notes, research papers, etc . only these or anything related to medical field)

Akshat,
Great question. Patient notes, diagnostic reports similar to what Shahid has in the Capture demo are probably the best starting points.
If you are looking a good source of Open EMR has a great deatset associated with the product- and you can take that datasource which will give the type of data you need. If you look in hte thier community you will see a database that you can take and use
Also I placed a few other data sources which have a good spread of data. If you center it around a specific disease like anemia or diabetes there are a lot of data sets. Here is a link to the healthcare resources it includes a few different datasets and sources.
Links to the general OpenEMR datasets and how to get them:
